Exterior construction complete for new Orlando Health Emergency Room – Eustis
New facility will open in Lake County this fall
Orlando, FL (May 27, 2026) – Orlando Health has reached a major construction milestone in building a new freestanding emergency department in Lake County with the completion of the exterior façade. The Orlando Health Emergency Room – Eustis will be located at the corner of Dillard Road and US Highway 441, with plans to open to patients this fall.
The 11,000 square foot facility will offer:
10 exam rooms
Dedicated trauma room for adult and pediatric patients
Imaging and laboratory services
Ambulance bay and convenient patient parking area
“We’re excited to expand access to emergency care for Eustis and neighboring communities,” said Maggie Bonko, Orlando Health vice president and president of Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital. “With rapid growth in the area, our emergency department team will be prepared to meet the full range of adult and pediatric emergency medical needs.”
The full-service emergency room will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will be fully staffed by board-certified emergency room physicians, registered nurses, and other clinicians.
